Alexander Shayeb

Alexander Shayeb is a Manhattan based actor, director, and fight choreographer. He was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. From a very young age he knew he wanted to be a performer. He was immediately enamored by films and created a love for the medium that still carries through today. Though his ultimate goal is to work in the film industry, Alexander knew that a performer's craft was built on the stage. Once he got to high school he started auditioning for musicals and plays being produced in his neighborhood. He was lucky enough to be in productions of Urinetown, Head Over Heels, Les Miserables, A Comedy of Errors, and Romeo and Juliet.

After four years of intense training at Fordham University, including a semester studying abroad at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts, his journey as an artist led him not only to be an actor, but a director and fight choreographer as well. Alexander is beyond excited to showcase his work as an actor in Fordham Theatre’s 2025 Showcase. Alexander believes that artistry is explored through community and he is very lucky to have found his at Fordham Theatre.
