Hannah Ponce

ACTOR

Hannah is a bilingual first-generation Ecuadorian-American actress and musician based in New York City. Born in Long Island, New York, and raised in Union City, New Jersey, she was exposed to the rich artistic and cultural scene of New York City from an early age.

Her love for theatre sparked in middle school when she attended Woodrow Wilson Integrated Arts School. It was there that she first stepped onto the stage as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, where she experienced the transformative and healing nature of storytelling and audience connection. Determined to follow this newfound love, she majored in Musical Theatre at High Tech High School where she received training in classical and contemporary theatre.

Currently, Hannah is a senior at Fordham University pursuing a BA in Theatre and a minor in Spanish. She has explored a diverse range of theatrical works in Spanish theatre and literature, while also deepening her connection to her Ecuadorian roots through language and cultural studies.

Beyond theatre, Hannah expresses her artistic vision through music under the name Esti Blue. As a singer-songwriter, she makes music that blends the art of sound and storytelling, inviting listeners into a world of emotion. Her music serves as an extension of her theatrical work and it offers another avenue to her artistry. Hannah aspires to use both theatre and music as platforms to amplify underrepresented voices and bring authentic Latinx narrative to the forefront of the arts.
