Isabella Gallegos

Isabella Gallegos is an actor born and raised in Queens and is currently based in NYC. She has been passionate about storytelling since she was a young girl, participating in programs like the NYU Steinhardt Youth Theatre Ensemble and the New York State Summer School of the Arts throughout grade school. Since then, she has pursued her BA in Theatre Arts at Fordham University, where she has collaborated in plays spanning various genres such as dramatic comedies, historical fiction, and new works in development. Recently, she finished a semester abroad at LAMDA, learning Shakespeare and how to navigate classical texts and heightened language, which inspired a new love of poetry.

Having grown up in one of the most diverse boroughs in New York City, Isabella was exposed to different cultures and backgrounds that inspired her deep curiosity about the world and an appreciation for different perspectives that drive her storytelling. Isabella is also committed to helping provide widespread access to the arts and education, working with non-profit organizations like the Kids Creative Collective that provide theatre training for New York City public school students.

As an artist and a person, Isabella is committed to trying something new every day; whether she’s learning a new skill like piano or ukulele, attending latin dance socials, or learning boleros songs to sing for her grandfather, she is always looking for ways to broaden her perspective. Isabella prioritizes being a flexible, empathetic, and brave collaborator. After graduation, she is excited to take on projects that build community and expand her horizons. She hopes that her work as an actor inspires others to do the same.
